Westward Partners Acquires Curtis Construction


SEATTLE, WA, August 9, 2013 - Westward Partners ("Westward"), a leading smaller middle market private equity firm, today announced its acquisition of a majority interest in Regina, Saskatchewan-based Curtis Construction Ltd. and South Saskatchewan Steel Services Ltd. (together, “Curtis” or the “Company”) one of the leading providers of maintenance, equipment, and recycling in the province. Curtis specializes in facility and equipment maintenance services, operated and bare equipment rental, recycling and contracting. Curtis is Westward’s 8th acquisition and its 1st portfolio company in Saskatchewan.

Curtis is known as one of the most well-established, family-owned and operated companies in Regina. Curtis President, Dale Curtis, has been with the Company since its inception and will continue to lead the Company and hold a significant ownership stake.
