Westward Partners Sells Cascade Coffee to LaSalle Capital

October 3, 2024 - Westward Partners (“Westward”) is pleased to announce that it has completed the sale of its former portfolio company, Cascade Coffee (“Cascade” or the “Company”). Westward acquired the business in July 2020 and spent several years working alongside CEO John Gilbert to augment the management team with a new CFO, COO, and others. During Westward's hold period, the Cascade team was able to successfully diversify the customer and revenue base, bringing on several major new customers, and growing smaller new customers into significant accounts. As a result, Cascade's revenue nearly quadrupled over the ~4 year investment horizon.

CEO John Gilbert, who will continue to lead the Company through this next phase of growth and expansion, stated, “We are excited to embark on what we are calling ‘Cascade 3.0,’ where we plan to further expand our capabilities and build Cascade into the pre-eminent partner for coffee brands.
